About Me

Background

I am an AI & Software Engineer with an international academic background, holding an MSc in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Yeditepe University (Turkey). My education has provided a strong foundation in both theoretical machine learning research and practical software engineering principles.

My research focuses on trustworthy and secure AI systems, particularly in safety-critical environments. My Master's thesis explored intrusion detection for automotive in-vehicle networks using machine learning, combining advanced anomaly detection algorithms with explainability frameworks. This work demonstrated my ability to bridge academic research with real-world engineering challenges, building systems that are both effective and interpretable.

Professionally, I work as an Application Developer (Assistant) at Yaz Bilgi Sistemleri, developing enterprise-level HR and ERP systems. Working with C#, .NET, and ABP Framework has strengthened my understanding of production-ready architectures, system reliability, and scalable backend engineering. This experience complements my research background, allowing me to apply academic insights to practical software development challenges.
